Terms of Service
Last updated: 7 September 2026
The service and this agreement
LaTeXDesk is a browser-based digital service for creating, storing and compiling LaTeX projects and downloading PDFs. By creating an account or purchasing a service, you agree to these terms. Features and allowances are described on the Plans page and at checkout.
Accounts and content
Keep your account secure and use only content you are entitled to upload. You retain ownership of your content and grant the permission necessary to store, process, compile and transmit it to provide the service. AI suggestions and compiled output require your review before use.
Acceptable use
Do not infringe intellectual property, distribute malware, bypass security or compiler isolation, access another account, or misuse service resources. Access may be restricted for security, legal requirements, non-payment or material violations. Where appropriate, we will explain the issue and give an opportunity to resolve it.
Prices, subscriptions and changes
Review the currency, total price, any applicable taxes, billing interval and renewal terms shown at checkout before paying. Paid subscriptions renew according to those terms unless cancelled. Manage your subscription through My Account, or contact support if an action is unavailable. Requests to upgrade, downgrade or change billing period must be handled against the existing subscription; contact support if the site blocks the change. Any applicable price difference and effective date must be confirmed before the change is completed. Do not purchase a duplicate subscription to resolve an account problem.
Digital delivery and cancellation
No physical goods are shipped. Read the Digital delivery section of our Refund and Cancellation Policy for activation and access problems. Cancellation stops future renewals according to the subscription status and does not itself delete your account or guarantee a refund for an elapsed period. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Availability and responsibility
Uninterrupted availability and error-free output cannot be guaranteed. Review your documents, citations and permissions before relying on the output, and keep copies of important work. Any limitation of liability applies only to the extent permitted by law and does not exclude liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Support, disputes and updates
For billing, cancellation, account deletion or complaints, email contact@latexdesk.com. The Contact page explains what to include. You remain entitled to approach the competent authority or court under applicable law; contacting support does not waive that right. Material changes to these terms will be communicated as required.
